Mountain Vista had won two straight games and Oliver Junker did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Golden Eagles walked away with a 62-50 victory over the Cherry Creek Bruins thanks in part to Junker, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Mecca Powell, who posted seven points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy.

Mountain Vista now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Cherry Creek, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Mountain Vista and Cherry Creek will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests.
