Softball Recap: Saint Viator Drops Season-High Score on White County

Saint Viator was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the White County Warriors. One positive for the Lions, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Alexis Horn made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Ava Moreno was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Even though they lost, Saint Viator was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Saint Viator's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for White County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6.

Coming up, Saint Viator will head out on the road to take on Prospect at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. White County has already played their next matchup (against Camden Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
