Basketball Game Preview: Joppa-Maple Grove Rangers vs. Egyptian Pharaohs

Joppa-Maple Grove and Egyptian are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2022, but not for long. The Joppa-Maple Grove Rangers will be taking part in a tournament against the Egyptian Pharaohs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Joppa-Maple Grove will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Joppa-Maple Grove's tournament run continued when they took on Century on Saturday. Joppa-Maple Grove had to suffer through a 73-43 loss at the hands of Century.

Meanwhile, Egyptian came up short against Dongola on Saturday and fell 66-53. The Pharaohs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Egyptian's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Joppa-Maple Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Joppa-Maple Grove came up short against Egyptian when the teams last played back in November, falling 68-60. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Egyptian's Kendrick Williams, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 14 boards.
