Soccer Recap: Cary Christian Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Cary Christian was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-4 on September 11th.

Cary Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cary Christian will challenge rival GRACE Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill is set to take on their familiar foe Trinity Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
