Baseball Recap: Wells Comes Up Short

Wells blew Kennard out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Kennard got their revenge. The Pirates fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 9-7. The Pirates just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Kennard, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-9.

Coincidentally, Wells and Kennard will both be playing Neches the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Pirates will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
