Football Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Furr Brahmans, falling 38-7. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Brahmans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Northside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Furr, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Northside will square off against rival Scarborough at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Furr is set to take on their familiar foe Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
