Strathmore hasn't had much luck against Corcoran recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Spartans will head out to face off against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Strathmore is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Strathmore lost 14-2 to Woodlake on Tuesday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Strathmore saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mollie Gillis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Corcoran duked it out with Lindsay on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Cardinals. The Panthers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 10-0).

Corcoran's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Strathmore, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
