Volleyball Recap: Calais Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Calais, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Orono Riots on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Blue Devils as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-18, 25-14.

Destiny Holmes paced Calais' offense, picking up three kills. Holmes got some help from Addison Ellsmore and her five assists. Ellsmore also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ashaleigh Sulkowski, each putting up seven.

The win got Calais back to even at 5-5. As for Orono, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Calais will square off against Narraguagus at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orono, they will host Maranacook at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
