Softball Recap: Whitnall Comes Up Short

Whitnall fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Merrill on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 9-8. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whitnall now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Merrill, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Whitnall has already played their next contest (against Lake Mills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Merrill, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-6 win against Cameron on the 5th.
