Baseball Game Preview: West Brook Bruins vs. Sterling Rangers

For the second straight game, West Brook will face off against Sterling. The Bruins will take on the Rangers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. West Brook is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

West Brook lost 9-3 to Sterling on Tuesday.

For Sterling's part, David Benavides spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Rafael Romo was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Caleb Valencia, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

West Brook's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17-1. As for Sterling, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.
