Estill County won the last time they faced Lee County and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Engineers put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp  11-1 win. Considering the Engineers have won seven contests by more than nine  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
Estill County let  Kadara Skinner and  Spencer Young run wild. Skinner  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base, while  Young  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  Skinner has posted  over her last eight  matches.  Brooklyn Ferrell was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  double.
 Estill County was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .480. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lee County only posted a  batting average of  .188.
Estill County has  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Lee County,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Estill County will challenge Southwestern at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Lee County, they will square off against Jackson County at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Generals will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight.
