Softball Recap: Ferndale Takes a Loss

Ferndale was the 6-5 winner over Trinity when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell 10-7 to the Wolves on Tuesday.

Danica Dowd was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She also got two hits, marking her first of the season. Rainy Rodriguez was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Ferndale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Trinity, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Ferndale has already played their next game, an 8-7 loss against Arcata on the 28th. As for Trinity, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 9-2 victory against Weed on the 28th.
