Softball Recap: Union Parish Takes a Loss

Union Parish was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 15-12 to the Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs. Even if the Farmers couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Union Parish's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Gibsland-Coleman, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Union Parish has already played their next match (against Lincoln Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Gibsland-Coleman, they will challenge Plainview at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
