Football Game Recap: Welsh vs. Rayne

Welsh took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against Rayne on Friday as they made off with a 41-16 win.

Welsh's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 28 points in the first half. Rayne came up with 13 to make it 28-13 heading into the break. The other side of the ball was dominant for Welsh in the second half, holding Rayne to a measly 3 points. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.

Welsh are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Kaplan next week at 7:00 PM. As for Rayne, they will face off against Lake Charles College Prep.
