Meanwhile, St. Michael the Archangel was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 59-55 to Blue Valley West.

Pembroke Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Pembroke Hill didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against St. Michael the Archangel when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 64-60 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pembroke Hill since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
