After losing to Myrtle Beach the last time they met, St. James decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The St. James Sharks escaped with a win on Tuesday against the Myrtle Beach Seahawks by the margin of a single free throw, 49-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sharks.

Despite the loss, Myrtle Beach had strong showings from James Watson, who went 8 for 17 on his way to 21 points and five boards, and JT Miller, who posted 13 points. Watson is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Matthew Campbell, who had three points along with six assists and three steals.

St. James is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Myrtle Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. James will challenge Carolina Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Myrtle Beach, they will take on Conway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Conway is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.6 points per game this season.
