Soccer Recap: Fort Gibson Comes Up Short

Fort Gibson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Hilldale Hornets, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 1-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Fort Gibson's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Hilldale, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Fort Gibson didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 defeat against Moore on the 14th. As for Hilldale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-2 victory against Stillwater on the 13th.
