Basketball Recap: Gilman Takes a Loss

Gilman lost against Neillsville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gilman Pirates were beaten by the Neillsville Warriors 87-13. The contest marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Gilman dropped their record down to 4-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Neillsville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Gilman will be home for the holidays to greet Loyal at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Neillsville, they will head out to square off against Owen-Withee at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Neillsville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Owen-Withee likes a good challenge.
