There's no place like home for Lakeside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Evans Knights with a sharp 14-2 win on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Lakeside let ADDISON HAM and AYSIA HAWKINS run wild. HAM went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while HAWKINS went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI HAWKINS has posted since back in August. PAISLEY MOAK was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Lakeside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They are 5-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Lakeside's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Evans, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
