Softball Recap: Laguardia Comes Up Short

If Laguardia was riding high fresh off their 19-1 takedown of Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Laguardia took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stuyvesant Peglegs on Tuesday. Laguardia hasn't had much luck with Stuyvesant recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Laguardia's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Stuyvesant, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Laguardia wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 27-2 win against DeWitt Clinton on the 24th. As for Stuyvesant, they have also already played their next game, a 23-0 victory against Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus on the 24th.
