Wayne had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Archangels Catholic Defenders. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wayne easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19.

Wayne was led to victory by Mallory Redden and Addison Frank. Redden had 19 assists and nine digs, while Frank had 18 digs and two assists. Redden has been hot, having posted 16 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Wayne's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Archangels Catholic, with the defeat, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-6.

Wayne has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] on the 27th. As for Archangels Catholic, they will face off against Grand Island Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
