Volleyball Recap: Nazarene Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Nazarene Christian Academy lost against Harvest Christian two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Saints.

While Nazarene Christian Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Harvest Christian work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-18, 25-20.

Emme Allen was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 24 assists and 12 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last ten games she's played dating back to last season.

Nazarene Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Harvest Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Nazarene Christian Academy will take on rival Wichita Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harvest Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
