Volleyball Recap: West Snags Tenth Win in Last 12 Games + How To Watch

West's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the South Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-15.

Leading West to victory were Marciela Dizon and Jessica Thomas. Dizon had seven digs and five aces, while Thomas had 12 digs and three aces. Those five aces gave Dizon a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: West was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in four consecutive contests.

West is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9-1 record this season. As for South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-18-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will face off against Foothill at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South, they will square off against Del Oro at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
