Baseball Recap: Bath County Takes a Loss

Bath County lost against James River back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Chargers came up short against the Knights, falling 15-4.

W Campbell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Bath County's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for James River, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Bath County will head out to square off against Parry McCluer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers are facing the Fighting Blues at the right time seeing as the Fighting Blues are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for James River, they will host Patrick County at 5:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
