Volleyball Game Preview: Columbia Eagles vs. Dutchtown Bulldogs

The Columbia Eagles are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against the Dutchtown Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Columbia is leaving town to face Dutchtown after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Stephenson on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Dutchtown posted their closest win since August 8, 2024 on Tuesday. They skirted past Upson-Lee 2-1.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (61-59) Dutchtown actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-23, 15-13.
