Basketball Game Preview: New Richmond Lions vs. Goshen Warriors

The New Richmond Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Goshen Warriors at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. New Richmond is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, New Richmond came up short against Madeira and fell 61-51.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Goshen, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Northwest by a score of 69-58 on Tuesday.

Goshen's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for New Richmond, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

New Richmond came up short against Goshen in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 68-59. Can New Richmond avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
