Volleyball Recap: Fenton Comes Up Short

Fenton lost against Dundee-Crown back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bison fell 2-0 to the Chargers.

While Fenton ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19.

Maura Minogue was the offensive standout of the contest as she had four aces and three digs. Those four aces gave her a new career-high.

Fenton dropped their record down to 9-23 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Dundee-Crown, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-17 record this season.

Coincidentally, Fenton and Dundee-Crown will both be playing Leyden the next time they take the court. The Bison will head out to face the Eagles at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Chargers will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
