Volleyball Recap: Del Sol Starts Season with Win Against Channel Islands

Del Sol took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Channel Islands Raiders 3-2.

Del Sol had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 20-25, 25-13, 25-11, 15-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Del Sol will welcome Pacifica at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Channel Islands, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Thacher at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st.
