Basketball Recap: East Kentwood Takes a Loss

East Kentwood lost against Hudsonville back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The East Kentwood Falcons fell to the Hudsonville Eagles 57-53. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Eagles are ranked ninth).

East Kentwood's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Hudsonville, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Kentwood won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Davison at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hudsonville, they will host Pewamo-Westphalia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
