Basketball Recap: Hill-Murray Comes Up Short

Hill-Murray lost against Tartan back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hill-Murray Pioneers took a hard 70-55 fall against the Tartan Titans. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Titans are ranked 15th).

Hill-Murray has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Tartan, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hill-Murray will welcome South St. Paul at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tartan, they will host Woodbury at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. One thing working in Tartan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
