Basketball Game Preview: San Francisco Christian Trojans vs. Pacific Bay Christian Eagles

San Francisco Christian is 0-10 against Pacific Bay Christian since January of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The San Francisco Christian Trojans will look to defend their home court against the Pacific Bay Christian Eagles at 5:15 p.m.

San Francisco Christian is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 15th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 50-29 to Pescadero. One positive for the Trojans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Pacific Bay Christian came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 53-42 win over the Mustangs.

San Francisco Christian better focus on containing Brady Strickland and Noah Jung as the pair were huge in Pacific Bay Christian's win. Strickland almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards, while Jung posted 18 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The game was Jung's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasper Watts, who scored six points.

Pacific Bay Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for San Francisco Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

San Francisco Christian was dealt a bruising 64-13 loss at the hands of Pacific Bay Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point San Francisco Christian was down 29-1.
