Volleyball Game Preview: Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens vs. Bulkeley Bulldogs

The Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens will venture away from home to face off against the Bulkeley Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Academy of Science and Innovation has three straight wins, Bulkeley has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Wednesday, Academy of Science and Innovation got the win against Classical Magnet by a conclusive 3-0.

Academy of Science and Innovation never let Classical Magnet on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Bulkeley came up short against Sports & Medical Sciences Academy on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Bulkeley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 25-22.

Academy of Science and Innovation's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Bulkeley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Academy of Science and Innovation took their win against Bulkeley in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
