The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Hamilton lost, don't look at Sage Henry. Despite the final result, she shot 47% from the field to rack up 23 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Henry a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Sipfle, who went 5-for-9 on her way to 12 points and eight rebounds.

Hamilton has already played their next match, a 70-42 victory against Rincon/University on the 27th. As for Sunnyslope, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-46 defeat against Desert Vista on the 27th.
