Basketball Recap: Northeast Dubois Jeeps vs. North Knox Warriors
The Northeast Dubois Jeeps were the 64-26 winner over the North Knox Warriors when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Northeast Dubois fell to the Warriors 57-53.
Several Jeeps players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Grant Goller, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Goller has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Dooley, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Northeast Dubois' loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for North Knox, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast Dubois will take on the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Barr-Reeve presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Jeeps in Indiana (the Vikings are ranked 67th, while the Jeeps are ranked 231st). As for North Knox, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th.
