Soccer Recap: Homer Comes Up Short

Homer fell victim to Wasilla and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0.

Homer now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for Wasilla, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Homer will host Soldotna at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wasilla, they will welcome Kenai Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
