Baseball Recap: Moundridge Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Moundridge took on Sedgwick on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Cardinals, falling 12-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-2 on Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Moundridge and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Sedgwick, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moundridge will venture away from home to take on Hillsboro at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Sedgwick, they will square off against Remington on Tuesday.
