Football Recap: Cornell Takes a Loss

Cornell scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a blow against the Siren Dragons, falling 58-27. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 45-8 to the Dragons when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cornell's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Siren, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cornell will square off against McDonell Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Macks' defense has only allowed 12.4 points per game this season, so the Chiefs' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Siren, they are taking a road trip to take on Luck at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will be up against the Cardinals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.6 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
