Recap: New London Wildcats vs. Edison Chargers
The New London Wildcats lost against the Edison Chargers back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. New London was dealt a 71-43 defeat at the hands of Edison. New London has struggled against Edison recently, as their matchup on Monday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Edison was led to victory by Cole Leimeister and Kayden Bourget. Leimeister scored 16 points, while Bourget scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Rang, who scored 7 points along with 3 steals.
New London's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Edison, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
New London will be playing at home against Mapleton at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Edison, they will head out on the road to face off against Wynford at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
