Volleyball Recap: Stony Point Has No Trouble Against Manor

Stony Point won the last time they faced Manor and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers blew past the Mustangs 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Stony Point took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-14, 25-12.

Jaleena Rodriguez was the offensive standout of the match as she had 13 assists and three digs. Those 13 assists gave her a new career-high.

Stony Point now has a winning record of 20-19. As for Manor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-28 record this season.

Coincidentally, Stony Point and Manor will both be playing Vandegrift the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Vipers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
