Bridgeport extended their postseason success on Saturday against Nitro. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Nitro Wildcats 70-21. Fans of the Indians have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Despite the loss, Nitro still got an impressive performance from Malachi Thompson, who picked up 188 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Thompson's longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards. Another pass catcher making a difference was Luke Shafer, who picked up 170 receiving yards and a touchdown.

The win for Bridgeport keeps them at an undefeated 13-0. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.7 points per game. As for Nitro, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2.

Bridgeport will venture away from home to take on Fairmont Senior at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Fairmont Senior has won three straight at home, while Bridgeport won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
