Baseball Recap: Sebastian River Takes a Loss

Sebastian River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the South Fork Bulldogs. The Sharks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Sebastian River saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Morrero, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Sebastian River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for South Fork, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Sebastian River will take on Melbourne at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Fork, they will head out to face off against Centennial at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
