Softball Preview: Grayslake North Knights vs. Wauconda Bulldogs        
        
		
            
 Grayslake North and Wauconda are an even 5-5 against one another  since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Grayslake North Knights are on the road again  on Tuesday to play the Wauconda Bulldogs at 4:45  p.m.
 Grayslake North lost  14-2 to Cary-Grove on Tuesday.
 Grayslake North saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Raygen Moore, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile, Wauconda entered their tilt with Rolling Meadows with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Mustangs onto the board and left with  a   4-0  victory  on Saturday.
  Madison May was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 4-for-4. She hasn't dropped below three  hits for three straight games. Another player making a difference was  Samantha Saldana, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Grayslake North's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Wauconda, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record  this season.
 Grayslake North might still be hurting after the  10-0 defeat they got from Wauconda  in their previous matchup  on April 10th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Wauconda's  Ellary Nick, who   didn't allow a single  earned run over five innings pitched. Now that Grayslake North knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
