Volleyball Recap: Oakland-Craig Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Oakland-Craig couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears on Friday. Considering the last time the Knights couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Briar Ray paced Oakland-Craig's offense, picking up 22 kills. Ray got some help from Mia Thomsen and her 35 assists.

Oakland-Craig's defeat dropped their record down to 29-8. As for Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 33-3.

Oakland-Craig didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Yutan on the 8th. As for Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Freeman on the 8th.
