Baseball Recap: Meridian Mustangs vs. Shepherd Bluejays

Meridian lost against Shepherd back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bluejays. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brady Bowen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Shepherd, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-5-1 record.
