Lakeview Academy waltzed into their match on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the George Walton Academy Bulldogs 55-35. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why George Walton Academy lost, don't look at Ashley Hill. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. What's more, Hill also posted a 75% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in November of 2024. Gisele Sorrow was another key player, putting up six points.

Lakeview Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. As for George Walton Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-5.
