Preview: Northern Bedford County Panthers vs. Glendale Vikings

Northern Bedford County is 8-0 against Glendale since August of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Northern Bedford County Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Glendale Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Northern Bedford County is looking to tack on another W to their nine-game streak on the road.

Northern Bedford County can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 35-6 win over Windber. Given Northern Bedford County's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while Windber is ranked 344th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eion Snider got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 176 yards and a touchdown. Aaron Bowers also helped out with an impressive 88 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Glendale put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season on Friday. They put the hurt on Curwensville with a sharp 30-8 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.

Glendale found their leader in underclassman Logan Skebeck, who rushed for 34 yards and a touchdown.

Another reason for the win was Glendale's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Landen Mcgarvey and Daniel Williams who racked up four sacks between them.

Their wins bumped Northern Bedford County to 9-0 and Glendale to 3-6.

Everything came up roses for Northern Bedford County against Glendale in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 35-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northern Bedford County since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
