Hesperia has gone 10-0 against Apple Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Hesperia Scorpions are taking a road trip to challenge the Apple Valley Sun Devils at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Apple Valley better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Hesperia really get things going. Hesperia's defense stepped up to hand Burroughs a 5-0 shutout on Thursday. The Scorpions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Burroughs from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, Apple Valley came into Thursday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on Serrano with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday.

Apple Valley's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5-3. As for Hesperia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4-3.

Hesperia took their win against Apple Valley in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0. Will Hesperia repeat their success, or does Apple Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
