Softball Recap: Omaha Takes a Loss

Omaha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 22-1 to the Jasper Pirates. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 22-10 to the Pirates when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Omaha's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jasper, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Omaha has already played their next contest (against Bradleyville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Jasper, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 17-16 defeat against Green Forest on the 22nd.
