Birch Run fell victim to Montrose and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Rams and fell 42-0. Having soared to a lofty 49 points in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Birch Run's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Montrose, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
