Softball Recap: Bethlehem Catholic Hawks vs. Nazareth Area Blue Eagles
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Bethlehem Catholic and Nazareth Area have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Hawks came up short against the Blue Eagles, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 back in March.
Bethlehem Catholic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Bixler, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.
Bethlehem Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Nazareth Area, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Meanwhile, Nazareth Area will square off against rival Northampton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
